About 70% of employers in the United Arab Emirates want to hire new staff by the end of the year, according to a recent survey by the jobs portal Bayt. Additionally, as per the report, 50% of businesses want to hire new personnel in the upcoming three months. The survey report states that these businesses will hire for a maximum of five positions. According to the report, roughly 25% of companies hire six to ten new staff monthly.
This year’s poll covered all the key markets in the MENA (the Middle East and North Africa) area and was performed online from June 9 to August 21. It also showed that engineering, management, and commerce are the three academic specializations most in demand for employment in the UAE. Additionally, 51% of UAE businesses prefer hiring candidates with strong communication abilities in Arabic and English.
Notably, international investments and new developments have helped the UAE’s job sector expand quickly since the outbreak.
