Job Description:
- The candidate will be responsible for effectively managing quantity take-offs, cost control, progress payments, and post-contract processes
Knowledge & Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree
Role & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of RFPs (Requests for Proposals)
- Preparation of commercial queries and tender documents
- Ensuring supplier alignment with project and procurement teams
- Supporting tender planning, scheduling, control, and evaluation activities
- Preparation of quantity take-offs and progress measurements
- Drafting and finalizing contracts when required
- Preparing and regularly updating budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Certification of monthly and interim progress payments
- Actively participating in cross-functional team coordination
- Providing regular reports on all commercial matters
- Monitoring monthly cost reports (budget, approved amounts to date, payments made, approved variations, pending variations, forecasted variations, etc.)
- Tracking payments, maintaining payment records, and managing inventory control
- Preparing requirements for insurances and bank guarantees, reviewing compliance, and ensuring secure record-keeping
- Managing and controlling all commercial documentation
- Safekeeping of contracts and managing renewals of guarantees, insurances, and professional indemnities
- Managing and controlling claims and variation/change processes
- Working closely with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers’ commercial teams to integrate verified work into overall commercial success
- Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS) in all related responsibilities
