Job Description:
- The BMS Technician is responsible for installing, connecting, and troubleshooting Building Management System (BMS) equipment to ensure proper operation of building automation systems.
- The role involves working with mechanical and electrical sensors, BMS panel boards, and control wiring while supporting efficient building operations and leading a small team of helpers.
Knowledge & Qualification:
- Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS), preferably Johnson Controls.
- Knowledge of control wiring, sensors, and panel termination.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Install, connect, and troubleshoot BMS systems, preferably Johnson Controls systems.
- Install and diagnose faults in mechanical and electrical sensors used in building management systems.
- Perform termination, wiring, and troubleshooting of BMS panel boards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Identify and resolve system malfunctions and operational issues.
- Supervise and guide a team of two helpers during installation and maintenance activities.
- Ensure work is completed according to technical standards and safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and team members of different nationalities.
