Job Description:
- Support senior surveyors in gathering accurate field data—including land measurements, elevations, and boundaries—to create survey maps and documentation that inform precise construction layout and planning.
Knowledge & Qualification:
- Basic operating knowledge of surveying instruments like Total Station, Level Machine & GPS.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- 01 year Diploma in Surveying or Surveying Vocational Certificate Course
- 3+ years’ experience in construction projects (building, villa etc.)
- Excellent communication skills.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic and boundary surveys using total stations, GPS, and other instruments.
- Measure elevations, distances, and angles to establish accurate data for planning and design.
- Setting out Construction Works: Set out reference points and markers to guide construction of foundations, columns, walls, and utilities as per design plans. Transfer levels, align structures, and checking dimensions on site.
- Data Recording and Processing: Record survey data and measurements accurately in field books or digital devices.
- Coordination and Communication: Work closely with senior surveyors and Land Surveyor. Report discrepancies or site issues related to horizontal & vertical elements
- Instrument Handling and Maintenance: Operate and maintain survey equipment like total stations, auto levels, GPS, and prisms, Ensure all tools are functional and ready for daily use.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure survey activities comply with local regulations and project specifications , Follow site safety protocols while performing fieldwork.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare field sketches, daily reports, and progress updates for project records, Maintain an organized file of survey data and revisions.
