Dynamic Staffing Services (DSS) was the principal sponsor of the 2nd Annual Labour Mobility Summit, held in early April at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens. The event, co-organized with the Embassy of India in Greece and law firm Mahas & Associates, brought together government representatives, diplomats, and senior business leaders to address Greece's growing workforce shortage.
DSS Managing Director Varun Khosla highlighted that Greece currently faces a shortage of 200,000–300,000 workers across key sectors including construction, manufacturing, hospitality, logistics, and agriculture — each unfilled position representing lost GDP and unrealized business growth.
Khosla emphasized that Metaklisi — the formal process of inviting foreign workers to Greece — is about workforce mobility, not migration. "We are talking about bringing workers for a defined period to fill roles that are not being filled locally," he said. DSS has already helped over 120 clients bring more than 1,500 workers to Greece, placing people at Athens International Airport, Heraklion Airport, the Riviera Tower at Ellinikon, and the VOAK motorway.
To address employer concerns around housing, DSS launched Dynamic Living (dynamicliving.eu), a dedicated worker accommodation service that manages entire buildings, handles onboarding, and provides ongoing support — removing the burden entirely from employers.
DSS operates in 23 countries and is expanding its Greece presence with new offices planned in Thessaloniki and Crete.
