With acute labor shortages impacting nearly every sector, including the key ones, the Romanian economy is facing severe pressure. In response, the Government of Romania has unveiled an ambitious plan to import 500,000 migrant laborers from Asia. The move is strategic, intended to fill the shortages in hospitality, agriculture, and construction \u2013 a situation described as having reached critical levels. Opening its borders to workers from other countries, Romania is opening its path not only to addressing immediate labor force needs but also to the long-term prosperity of its economy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It targets labor forces in countries that have vast pools of skilled manpower, especially in Asian countries.
