The latest Construction Labour Market Report updates state-level employment data and prognosis for residential construction jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are the key takeaways from the report:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With residential construction holding the lion&#8217;s share of 3.2 million of the 7.9 million construction payroll jobs, that puts the industry in a very tough predicament, as it will now have to hire 723,000 more workers per year to keep pace with demand.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The construction industry happens to be one of the ones that is always in demand, with the numbers standing at around 300,000 to 400,000 that open up every month.
